POWAR CS

What is POWAR CS?
The POWAR CS Climate Simulator is an advanced educational tool, designed specifically for the classroom, that allows students to interact and experiment with climate variables in a controlled environment.
This physical device, integrated with a web-based control platform, facilitates the simulation of different environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and rainfall.
Through these hands-on experiments, POWAR CS offers a deep and realistic understanding of topics related to climate change, sustainability, and environmental resilience.
Educational Purpose
POWAR CS is designed to foster hands-on learning in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) areas and aligns with environmental and climate education goals.
By enabling the simulation and control of various climate variables, the device helps students understand how climate change impacts ecosystems and fosters the development of critical skills such as data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Operation and Access
The POWAR CS is easy to set up in the classroom.
It connects to a 220v power source and requires a Wi-Fi connection to operate the cloud control platform.
Its control system, operated through the WIO Terminal, allows climate variables to be adjusted via the web platform, facilitating remote control and real-time monitoring.
The collected data is automatically stored in a database on Amazon (AWS) servers and can be exported for further analysis.
